1. Who we are

Circuit Academy is a brand operated by Neat Labs LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA, at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801 ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: info@circuitacademy.lk. By using circuitacademy.lk or buying from us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16, or have your guardian's consent. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate details — your name appears on certificates and licence files, and delivery depends on a working email address.

3. What we sell

• Design files — Gerbers, drill files, schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, Pick & Place (CPL) files, 3D models, component libraries.
• Firmware and software source files.
• Courses — video instruction with optional certificates of completion.
• Physical goods — fabricated boards (bare and assembled), enclosures, where offered.

All designs are created in-house by Circuit Academy. We do not resell or redistribute third-party or commercial designs. We own or control the rights we grant you.

4. Licence

Digital products are licensed, not sold. Your rights are set out in our Licence Terms, which form part of these Terms. Ownership and intellectual property remain with Neat Labs LLC.

5. Access protection

To protect licensed content we: watermark downloadable files with your name, email address and order number; display identifying information during video playback; limit concurrent playback to two devices per account; and log downloads and playback, including IP address and device information. These measures are described in our Privacy Policy. Attempting to circumvent them, or sharing your account, is a material breach and may result in revocation without refund.

6. Acceptable use

You may not: resell, redistribute or publish our files; remove or alter watermarks or licence notices; share account access; scrape or bulk-download; use the site to infringe others' rights; or attempt to gain unauthorised access.

7. Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are payable in full. Payment is processed by Shopify; we do not store your card details. Prices exclude any taxes, duties or import charges your country may impose — those are your responsibility.

8. Delivery

Digital products are available immediately after payment is confirmed, in your account. Physical products are covered by our Shipping Policy.

10. Disclaimer

Our designs are supplied "as is" and "as available", for evaluation and integration by a competent engineer.

We test our designs and publish the manufacturing parameters they were verified against. You remain responsible for independently verifying any design before fabricating, assembling, powering, or deploying it, including reviewing schematics, layout, component selection, ratings, thermal behaviour, regulatory compliance and suitability for your application.

Manufacturing outcomes depend on your fabricator, chosen materials, component sourcing, assembly process and use conditions — all outside our control.

Our products are not designed or authorised for safety-critical applications, including medical devices, automotive safety systems, aerospace, nuclear, or any application where failure could cause death, injury or severe environmental damage, unless separately agreed by us in writing.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any product or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including: PCB fabrication or assembly costs; component or tooling costs; equipment damage; loss of profit, data, or time; or costs of redesign or rework. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, in particular redistribution or circumvention of protection measures. Where we terminate for breach, no refund is due. Where you close your account voluntarily, previously granted licences continue subject to the Licence Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on-site notice. The version at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
